June 6, 2015

A team from Cordier Auctions and Appraisals was excited to be part of the second annual Glow Run benefiting Lighten Up Harrisburg in Riverfront Park on June 6.

Cordier Auctions and Appraisals was one of the event sponsors, and a team of ten walkers and runners, in addition to event volunteers, came to enjoy the event and support the cause.  The family of Brian Buehrle, a member of Cordier's staff and an apprentice auctioneer, led Team Cordier Auction in the race with his wife Anabelle coming in with a time of 33.14; Brian and his daughter Bella both came in with times of 33.17.  The race was followed by an after party that included music, snacks, and ice cream.

More than 400 participants registered for the The 5 K walk/run which raised funds for lighting projects in the City of Harrisburg.  Past projects include the Walnut Street Bridge relighting project, Allison Hill area lighting project, and Front Street lighting project.
